Learning from and following Uncle Ho's example in Nghia Dan
(Baonghean.vn) - Localities and units in Nghia Dan have selected a number of practical contents to exemplify learning and following Uncle Ho's teachings, making this activity a conscious effort and a regular practice among cadres, Party members, civil servants, and the people.
CHOOSE A CREATIVE AND APPROPRIATE METHOD
In April 2023, the Party Committee of Nghia Yen commune launched the movement "Each official and Party member saves at least 15,000 VND per month" (each official and civil servant saves 500 VND daily). To date, the savings fund of officials and civil servants in Nghia Yen commune has accumulated over 16 million VND. From this savings, the commune has donated 4 bicycles and 8 gifts to poor students with difficult circumstances on the occasion of the opening of the new school year 2023-2024, in addition to providing support and assistance to those in need and distress.
Comrade Le Dinh Hanh, Secretary of the Party Committee of Nghia Yen commune, shared: "As a mountainous commune facing many difficulties in the district, the commune's Party Committee has chosen savings methods suitable to the income of officials, civil servants, and residents. The money saved will contribute to supporting children with special difficulties, orphans, disabled children, and poor households to improve their lives."
The commune Party Committee will continue to spread this program and bring practical value, demonstrating humanity, contributing to spreading love to the community and sharing with those in difficult circumstances so that they can have more strength and joy in life.
Each political and social organization in Nghia Yen commune has its own practical way of learning from and following President Ho Chi Minh's example. Specifically: The Women's Union of the commune has built a model for sorting and processing waste at the source in Dong Song village to protect the environment; the Veterans' Association of the commune has built a model of members helping each other develop the economy in Canh Yen village; the commune police have advised on building a "drug-free commune" model, achieving many positive results; schools have built models of beautiful schools, lovely classrooms, dedicated teachers, and active students...
In 2023, the Nghia Yen Commune Party Committee identified its breakthrough task as clearing land for the construction of a concrete road from National Highway 48E to the commune's stadium area, and mobilizing resources to organize the celebration of the commune's 70th anniversary and the announcement of its achievement of the new rural standard. Accordingly, the locality focused on disseminating information and mobilizing people to donate 8,500 square meters of land.2Land, over 1,400 trees of various types, 107m of fence, and concrete pillars were cleared to build the road from National Highway 48E to the commune's stadium area along all three routes, with a total length of over 2,243m. Contractors are currently working on the project.
In the field of education, Nghia Dan district continues to direct all levels of education to implement the integrated teaching of the document "Uncle Ho and lessons on ethics and lifestyle for students" from grades 2 to 12 in subjects such as Civic Education, Ethics, Literature, and extracurricular activities. The District Department of Education and Training also implemented Plan No. 72-KH/HU on "Strengthening the inclusion of learning and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh in schools in the district in the 2022-2023 school year," making learning and following Uncle Ho a regular content in schools.
Schools maintain reading rooms and school libraries to develop a movement of storytelling about the exemplary life, morality, and style of President Ho Chi Minh during flag-raising ceremonies, morning assemblies, writing and drawing competitions, and wall newspaper creation... Through this, each student regularly studies, trains, cultivates, and strives to follow the example of President Ho Chi Minh.
SPREADING EXAMPLES AND EXAMPLES
In implementing Conclusion No. 01 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive No. 05 "Promoting the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style," Nghia Dan district has reformed its propaganda work with diverse forms and content. In addition, the district has focused on directing the review and development of exemplary models in implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW. As a result, many good practices, effective models, and outstanding examples of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's teachings have emerged and are being replicated throughout the district.
To date, all 47 grassroots Party organizations, the Fatherland Front, and other political and social organizations in the district, as well as various sectors and levels, have registered to develop and introduce exemplary models and effective practices. As a result, the entire district has developed 224 collective and individual models of learning from and following President Ho Chi Minh's example in various aspects of social life, including 17 district-level models and 207 grassroots-level models. These exemplary models and examples have created a ripple effect among cadres, Party members, and the people in the area.
Some localities have adopted innovative approaches, mobilizing the participation of a large number of officials, Party members, and people. Typical examples include: the Nghia Loc Commune Party Committee focusing on building new rural areas, implementing effective mass mobilization models, eradicating hunger and poverty, and building a strong political system; and the Binh Hanh Branch Party Committee of Nghia Binh Commune focusing on leading and directing village organizations to effectively implement patriotic emulation movements and build effective models.

Comrade Phan Tien Hai, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Nghia Dan District Party Committee, said that the District Party Committee has incorporated the study and emulation of President Ho Chi Minh's teachings into its action program to implement the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels, as well as creating breakthroughs in implementing the resolutions of the District Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term. The District Party Committee has clearly directed that from the grassroots Party branches and from each Party member, the study and emulation of President Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, ethics, and style must become a regular activity and be included in monthly and periodic meetings so that everyone continues to internalize and implement it, making it a highly voluntary and practical movement.
