Traditional Craft Fair 2015
From 9am to 4pm on November 14, the 2015 Traditional Crafts Fair will take place at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, an annual program organized by Craft Link.
The Fair is one of the most interesting cultural events in Hanoi in November. Ethnic minority groups, craft villages and disabled groups from all over the country will come to display and sell their traditional products. Within the framework of the Fair, the Organizing Committee will also introduce to the public traditional art performances, folk games, and many attractive outdoor group activities.
The fair is a special annual event that production groups always look forward to and prepare very carefully. This is an opportunity for producers to sell directly to customers, learn about market trends. And customers also have the opportunity to meet directly with producers as well as learn more about the traditional culture of the ethnic groups.

The fair is an activity to help preserve traditional culture, develop the skills of ethnic minority groups, help handicraft production groups increase income and develop sustainably through finding markets for their products, and at the same time contribute to increasing the pride of producers in the cultural beauty of their people.
The program is also an activity to raise public awareness of the economic and cultural value of traditional Vietnamese handicrafts, as well as awareness of the cultural traditions of ethnic minorities in Vietnam.
Craft Link is a non-profit organization that works to support ethnic minority groups, disabled groups and traditional craft villages in restoring cultural traditions, developing handicraft production and increasing community income. Currently, Craft Link is supporting 63 production groups nationwide, of which 45% are ethnic minority groups, 25% are disabled groups, groups in difficult circumstances and 30% are traditional craft villages.
