Red Cross gives 45 gifts in Tan Ky on Christmas occasion

In total, there were 45 gifts, worth 30 million VND, each gift including 1 warm blanket and 500 thousand VND in cash, given to poor households and poor students with excellent academic achievements.

Previously, on the afternoon of December 23, the delegation presented 15 gifts to poor parishioners in Ky Tan commune.

At the places visited, on behalf of the Red Cross of the province and Tan Ky district, I wish everyone a Merry Christmas, hope that the dignitaries and parish officials will continue to pay attention to supporting poor households to overcome difficulties and improve their lives, encourage people to live happily, take care to build solidarity between Catholics and non-Catholics and build a strong New Rural Area.

On this occasion, along with visiting and giving gifts to poor households, the delegation also visited and wished a Merry Christmas to the Priest and Pastoral Council of Quy Hau Parish, Ky Tan Commune, Tan Ky.

Ky Tan is a commune located about 2 km east of Lat town, Tan Ky. The whole commune has 1,5620 households, of which 202 households are Catholics. It has 1 diocese, 1 parish and 2 parishes./.
