The National Election Council consists of a Chairman, 4 Vice Chairmen and 14 Members.
On the morning of June 26, the National Assembly voted to approve the Resolution approving the proposal of the Chairman of the National Election Council on the list of Vice Chairmen of the National Election Council and Members.

With 100% of the National Assembly deputies present voting in favor, the National Assembly approved comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly as Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the National Election Council and Head of the Personnel Subcommittee.
Comrades: Nguyen Hoa Binh - Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister of the Government; Do Van Chien - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Vo Thi Anh Xuan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President as Vice Chairmen of the National Election Council.
The National Assembly also approved 14 members of the National Election Council at the proposal of the Chairman of the National Election Council.

The resolution approving the list of Vice Chairmen and members of the National Election Council takes effect immediately from the time it is voted on by the National Assembly, creating a legal and organizational basis for the National Election Council to fully implement its functions and tasks in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and laws.
Previously, on the afternoon of June 25, the National Assembly voted to pass the Resolution of the National Assembly to elect Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man as Chairman of the National Election Council.
