The Nghe An Hometown Association in Hanoi held a meeting and presented Tet gifts to veterans of the Dong Bang Division, 320th Regiment.
On the morning of January 26th, amidst the nationwide celebrations of the successful conclusion of the 14th National Party Congress, the Nghe An Hometown Association in Hanoi, in coordination with the Traditional Liaison Committee of the Dong Bang Division - 320th Division of Nghe An - Ha Tinh, organized a meeting and presented Tet gifts to disadvantaged veterans.
Attending the program was Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province.

The Liaison Committee of the 320th Division's Delta Regiment was established on March 26, 1996, with 24 members. Over nearly 30 years of development, the Liaison Committee has now formed 8 branches and gathered 426 members. The Liaison Committee operates on a completely voluntary, selfless, and comradely basis.
The entire operating and development budget is funded by voluntary contributions from successful and dedicated veterans and fellow soldiers, without any external sponsorship.
Over the past period, the Liaison Committee has mobilized resources from comrades, directly participating in the construction of four memorials commemorating battles fought across various battlefields; organized more than 30 "journeys back to the roots" to revisit former battlefields to pay tribute to and remember the heroes and martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country; and coordinated with units and localities to search for information and collect the remains of martyrs. In addition, the Liaison Committee of the 320th Division's Delta Division regularly cares for, visits, and encourages veterans who are injured, sick, or in difficult circumstances; and actively participates in supporting people affected by natural disasters, storms, and floods, as well as other social welfare activities.

In particular, in 2025, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country, and the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, the Liaison Committee of the Dong Bang Division - 320th Division of Nghe An - Ha Tinh organized many major programs with profound historical and humanitarian significance, such as: Marching to the source, paying tribute to the old battlefields; Traditional meeting on July 27th; Visiting the Military History Museum - commemorating the 75th anniversary of the founding of the 320th Division; Returning to Hung Temple - interacting with the Liaison Committee of Phu Tho province; Returning to the Central Highlands to attend the ceremony of receiving the Second Class Order of National Defense and commemorating the Traditional Day of the 320th Division; Visiting and receiving the remains of martyrs…

These meaningful activities have affirmed the core role of the Liaison Committee in gathering veterans, spreading the positive image of soldiers of the 320th Division in the new era; strengthening connections between generations of veterans and contributing to the education of revolutionary traditions for the younger generation.

On the occasion of the traditional Lunar New Year, the Nghe An Hometown Association in Hanoi and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province presented 18 gifts to express gratitude for the contributions of veterans belonging to the Liaison Committee of the 320th Division's Mekong Delta Regiment to their homeland and country.
