The Nghe Tinh Hometown Association and the Vietnamese community in Poland provide assistance to flood victims.
On the morning of August 9th, the Nghe Tinh Hometown Association and members of the Vietnamese community in Poland distributed 67 aid packages, each worth 5 million VND in cash, to households severely affected by floods in Tuong Duong commune, Nghe An province.
Following the recent historic floods, many villages in Tuong Duong commune were isolated, and people's houses, property, and crops were severely damaged.
In response to this situation, the Nghe Tinh Hometown Association in Poland, along with the Vietnamese community living and working there, promptly launched a fundraising campaign to send donations back to their homeland.

Accordingly, the delegation presented 67 support packages, each worth 5 million VND in cash, to 67 households severely affected by the floods. This money helps people purchase essential items, repair their homes, and stabilize their lives after the storms. The total amount of support was 335 million VND, handed directly to the people, contributing to helping them overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives as soon as possible.
Mr. Kha Van Lap, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Tuong Duong commune, on behalf of the commune's leaders, expressed his emotion and appreciation for the kindness of those living far from home: "In the most difficult times, the feelings and sharing of the Nghe Tinh community and the Vietnamese community in Poland are a great source of encouragement, giving more confidence for the flood-affected people to get back on their feet and stabilize their lives."
These gifts not only have material value but also serve as a bridge of love, reflecting the Vietnamese tradition of "mutual support," helping the flood-affected people of Tuong Duong commune to overcome challenges with greater strength.
