The Nghe An Hometown Association in Hai Phong and the Nghe Tinh Hometown Association in Thai Binh organized the program "Warm Tet - Connecting Homeland".

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026 (Year of the Horse), on January 17th and 18th, the Nghe An Hometown Association in Hai Phong, in coordination with the Nghe Tinh Hometown Association in Thai Binh, organized a charitable program themed "Warm Tet - Connecting Homeland," aimed at helping people in difficult circumstances in the two provinces of Nghe An and Ha Tinh.

The delegation included Mr. Ngo Duc Khanh - Chairman of the Nghe An Hometown Association in Hai Phong and Mr. Hoang Huu Hong - Chairman of the Nghe Tinh Hometown Association in Thai Binh.

In Nghe An, the volunteer group visited Muong Quang commune, distributing Tet gifts to 36 Khmu ethnic minority households and 2 teachers stationed in Huoi May village, along with 87 households in Na Ty village.
Each gift package includes: one warm blanket, a warm jacket, 10kg of rice, cooking oil, fish sauce, books and stationery, and cash ranging from 500,000 to 1,000,000 VND per household, contributing to sharing difficulties and encouraging the people and teachers to celebrate Tet with peace of mind.

In Ha Tinh province, the delegation visited Dan Hai and Vu Quang communes, distributing gifts to 33 households (13 households in Dan Hai and 20 households in Vu Quang).

Each gift package included 10kg of rice, cooking oil, fish sauce, and 500,000 VND in cash, demonstrating the practical care and sharing of those who have left their hometowns for the local community.

The total value of the "Warm Tet - Connecting Homeland" charity trip was nearly 200 million VND, raised from contributions by members, businesses, philanthropists, and Quoc Tuan transportation company. The program not only brought a warmer Tet to people in disadvantaged areas but also spread the spirit of mutual support and strengthened the solidarity of the people of Nghe An towards their homeland.
