Nghia Dan Women's Union hands over 'Houses of Love'

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 20th, authorized by the Provincial Women's Union, the Nghia Dan District Women's Union organized the handover of a "House of Love" to member Nguyen Thi Tuyet (Tho ethnic group) in Hamlet 8, Nghia Duc Commune.

Representatives of the Nghia Dan District Women's Union handed over the financial support to member Nguyen Thi Tuyet.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet, along with her husband and three children, are classified as a poor and extremely disadvantaged household, living in makeshift shelters in her parents' garden. The Nghe An Provincial Women's Union provided 30 million VND from the "Shelter of Love" fund to help her build a sturdy house. After more than three months of construction, with the help of relatives and neighbors, the 60 square meter house, valued at over 200 million VND, was completed and handed over to the family.

This is the second "House of Love and Compassion" handed over in Nghia Duc commune since Nghia Dan was divided and Thai Hoa town was established.
