The Provincial Women's Union laid wreaths in commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh and Comrade Nguyen Thi Minh Khai.
On the occasion of the 17th Congress of the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union, term 2025-2030, on the morning of November 22nd, a delegation from the Provincial Women's Union visited historical sites, laying flowers and offering incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and Comrade Nguyen Thi Minh Khai.
The delegation was led by Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Hien, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, and President of the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union.
At the Kim Lien Special National Historical Site, the delegation from the Provincial Women's Union paid their respects.Offering flowers and incense expresses boundless gratitude for the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - the brilliant leader of our Party and people, an outstanding figure in the international communist and workers' movement. He dedicated and sacrificed his entire life to the cause of national liberation, and the struggle for peace and happiness for the Vietnamese people and the people of the world.
Learning from and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of President Ho Chi Minh, in recent times, women's associations at all levels in Nghe An have actively reformed the content and methods of their activities; improving the capacity and work style of association officials at all levels, meeting the increasingly demanding requirements of their tasks.
Before the sacred image of President Ho Chi Minh, the delegation of the Provincial Women's Union pledged to study and follow his noble thoughts, ethics, and style, continuing to promote the spirit of "Unity - Creativity - Dedication - Development," making the women's movement and the work of the Union increasingly effective, contributing to building a prosperous and beautiful Nghe An as President Ho Chi Minh wished during his lifetime.
Following that, the delegation from the Provincial Women's Union held a ceremony to offer incense in commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh's family members, including Mrs. Ha Thi Hy - President Ho Chi Minh's grandmother; Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan - the great mother who gave birth to and raised President Ho Chi Minh; and Mr. Nguyen Sinh - President Ho Chi Minh's younger brother.
At the Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Memorial House, delegates offered prayers, flowers, and incense to express their deep admiration and gratitude for the pure revolutionary ideals, indomitable spirit, and unwavering fortitude of Comrade Nguyen Thi Minh Khai - a steadfast female revolutionary fighter of the Party, an outstanding daughter of Nghe An province, former member of the Southern Regional Party Committee, former Secretary of the Saigon-Chợ Lớn City Party Committee, one of the exemplary communist pioneers of the Party, and an outstanding disciple of President Ho Chi Minh.
Throughout her life, Comrade Nguyen Thi Minh Khai sacrificed herself for the revolutionary cause of the nation, for the cause of women's liberation, wholeheartedly serving the Party and the people.
Comrade's qualities and contributions will forever endure with the nation; they shine brightly, inspire, and provide immense strength to the women of Nghe An in the cause of innovation, construction, and development of their homeland and country.
