The Nghe An Association of Literature and Arts implements its tasks for 2026 and meets with collaborators of Song Lam Magazine.
On the morning of December 19th, the Nghe An Provincial Association of Literature and Arts held a conference to summarize its work in 2025, plan for 2026, meet with contributors to Song Lam Magazine, and admit new members.
Attending the conference were representatives from the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province; the Department of Culture and Sports; along with numerous artists, members, and 120 contributors to Song Lam Magazine – the official publication of the Nghe An Provincial Union of Literature and Arts.

In 2025,Nghe An Union of Literature and ArtsContinuing to affirm its role as a political, social, and professional organization with a large number of members, diverse professional activities, closely adhering to the Party's ideological direction, and accompanying the socio-cultural development of the province.
The Association currently has 8 specialized committees with 398 members; the team of artists and writers continues to uphold political principles, actively create, and contribute to the cultural and spiritual life of the people.

In 2025, the Association organized and co-organized 5 comprehensive creative camps, 6 field trips for creative work within and outside the province; numerous workshops, scientific seminars, art exhibitions, regional art photography festivals in the North Central region, and in-depth professional exchange activities. Many works by members were published in central and local newspapers and magazines; more than 35 books by members were published.

The meeting with collaborators of Song Lam Magazine was a key highlight of the conference. The Association's leadership and the Editorial Board of Song Lam Magazine acknowledged and commended the persistent, responsible, and dedicated support of the team of collaborators from across the province and beyond.
Many speakers at the conference frankly discussed content direction, improving the quality of works, innovating the form of expression, contributing to building Song Lam Magazine into an increasingly attractive and distinctive publication, meeting the requirements of propaganda in the new era.

Within the framework of the conference, the Nghe An Association of Literature and Arts admitted 17 new members, adding to the ranks of young writers and bringing the total number of members to 398. At the same time, the Association announced awards for many collectives and individuals, including members and collaborators of Song Lam Magazine, who have achieved outstanding results in literary and artistic activities and propaganda work in 2025.

Entering 2026, amidst the implementation of new policies on streamlining the organizational structure, the Nghe An Provincial Association of Literature and Arts has identified its central goal as continuing to innovate its operational methods. The top priority is to meticulously prepare for the 7th Ho Xuan Huong Literature and Arts Award – the most prestigious award for artists and writers in the province.

Concluding the conference, Mr. Ho Mau Thanh, Chairman of the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts, emphasized: In 2026, the Association will continue to innovate its content and methods of operation; focus on nurturing successors; improve the quality of creative writing and literary criticism; and promote literary and artistic works associated with the revolutionary traditions, culture of Nghe An province, and the aspirations for development of the homeland. Each artist needs to continue to enhance their political acumen and professional responsibility to create "top-tier" works that reflect the scale of the reform process and the cultural identity of the people of Nghe An.
