The Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs.
To commemorate the 63rd anniversary of the "Vietnam Agent Orange Disaster Day" (August 10, 1961 - August 10, 2024), on the morning of August 8, the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Nghe An province laid flowers and offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and other revolutionary predecessors and heroic martyrs at several historical sites in the province.
A delegation of officials and staff from the Standing Committee of the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in the province, along with the Chairpersons of the Associations of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in the districts, cities, and towns, visited and offered flowers and incense at the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan; the Kim Lien National Special Historical Site in Nam Dan district; the Chung Son Temple (Nam Dan); the Truong Bon Historical Site (Do Luong); the Memorial Area of General Secretary Le Hong Phong and the Nghe Tinh Soviet Historical Site (Hung Nguyen).




Respectfully offering incense to commemorate and express gratitude to the revolutionary predecessors and heroic martyrs, on behalf of the delegation, Mr. Hoang Dang Hoe - Chairman of the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in the province - stated that over 18 years of operation, the Association has mobilized over 29 billion VND to support victims in various ways, including: building and repairing houses; providing livelihood support; awarding scholarships; providing hardship and illness allowances; and visiting victims during holidays and Tet (Lunar New Year)...


Offering incense to the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh and the revolutionary predecessors, heroic martyrs, the delegation of the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in the province pledged to fulfill its assigned tasks well, contributing to alleviating the suffering caused by Agent Orange; encouraging Agent Orange victims to overcome their inferiority complex, integrate into the community, and strive for a better life, contributing to building a more developed and civilized homeland.
