The Nghe An Journalists Association conducts a field trip to Que Phong commune.
On August 24th, the Nghe An Journalists Association organized a working trip to Que Phong commune to learn about Party building work, the operation of the two-level local government after one year of operation; the socio-economic development situation, ensuring national defense and security, and issues arising from practical situations at the grassroots level.
During the meeting, the leaders of the Party Committee and People's Committee of Que Phong commune informed and exchanged information with the working group about the outstanding results in the first six months of 2026, the key tasks for the last six months of the year, as well as the difficulties and obstacles encountered in the process of organizing and implementing tasks in the locality.

Following the administrative reorganization, the Party Committee of Que Phong commune focused on consolidating its organization, maintaining leadership and guidance practices; and simultaneously promoting propaganda work to create consensus among cadres, Party members, and the people. Party building work was implemented in all aspects: political, ideological, organizational, inspection, supervision, and mass mobilization.
Notably, digital transformation in Party work has been accelerated. Party membership development continues to receive attention. In the first six months of the year, the commune Party committee admitted 44 new members, achieving 64% of the assigned target. Inspection and supervision work has been strengthened, with 10 out of 20 planned inspections for 2026 having been completed.
Along with Party building efforts, the operations of the two-level local government have gradually become more organized. The commune People's Council has held three sessions and issued 18 resolutions. Administrative reform, the application of information technology, and digital transformation have been emphasized, contributing to improved effectiveness and efficiency in state management and public service.
In the economic field, agricultural production remains basically stable. The locality is implementing 11 projects and is focusing on discussing and finding solutions to overcome difficulties related to land clearance, construction material sources, and the disbursement of investment capital.

Education, healthcare, culture, and social welfare continue to receive attention. National defense and security are maintained.
Besides the achievements, the leaders of Que Phong commune also frankly discussed some limitations and difficulties.
In the last six months of 2026, Que Phong commune aims to continue improving the leadership capacity of the Party organization and the effectiveness of government management; accelerate the disbursement of public investment capital and national target programs; develop production, take care of social welfare, strengthen digital transformation, maintain national defense and security, and improve the quality of service to the people.

During the working session, members of the delegation and local leaders exchanged views on issues arising in the operation of the two-tiered local government system. Information from practical experience at the grassroots level provided members of the Nghe An Journalists Association with additional materials and perspectives on the initial results, difficulties, and requirements for further improvement in the implementation of their tasks.
Through this field trip, members have the opportunity to gain practical experience in the operation of the political system at the grassroots level, contributing to improving the quality of information and propaganda on Party building, the activities of the two-level local government, and socio-economic development in the province.
