The Provincial Farmers' Association presents gifts to people in flood-affected areas.

(Baonghean.vn) - The Provincial Farmers' Association visited and presented gifts to families facing difficulties due to the heavy rains in Do Luong and Tan Ky districts.

* On the morning of October 21st, the Nghe An Provincial Farmers' Association and the Provincial Agricultural Bank, in coordination with the Do Luong District Farmers' Association, visited and presented gifts to families affected by the recent heavy rains.

The delegation provided assistance to disadvantaged families affected by the heavy rains.

This time, the Nghe An Provincial Farmers' Association, together with the Provincial Agricultural Bank, donated 30 gift packages, each worth 1 million VND, to the three communes of My Son, Tru Son, and Dai Son.

In Tru Son commune, the delegation presented gifts to families in difficult circumstances affected by heavy rains. Although the gifts were small, they demonstrated a spirit of mutual support and timely encouragement to disadvantaged farmers in the district, enabling them to purchase seeds and fertilizers promptly to recover and ensure effective winter crop production.

*Also on October 21st, the Provincial Farmers' Association directly visited and provided support to families affected by the storm and floods in Tan Ky district.

Out of the 30 cases receiving assistance, 3 families whose relatives died in the recent floods received 3 million VND each.

Mr. Tran Van Huong, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Farmers' Association, presents gifts to a family affected by the disaster in Huong Son commune, Tan Ky district.

Twenty-seven households that suffered property damage received 1 million VND each. The total amount of support provided was 36 million VND. This money was donated by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association and the Nghe An Provincial Farmers' Association.

This practical support aims to share the pain and loss with the farmers, while also encouraging them to overcome difficulties and improve their lives.
