(Baonghean.vn) - The Provincial Farmers' Association visited and gave gifts to families in difficult circumstances caused by heavy rains in Do Luong and Tan Ky.

* On the morning of October 21, Nghe An Provincial Farmers' Association, the Provincial Agricultural Bank, in coordination with Do Luong District Farmers' Association, visited and presented gifts to families affected by the recent heavy rains.

The delegation gave gifts to families in difficult circumstances affected by heavy rain.

This time, Nghe An Farmers' Association and the Provincial Agricultural Bank presented 30 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to the three communes of My Son, Tru Son and Dai Son.

In Tru Son commune, the delegation presented gifts to families in difficult circumstances affected by heavy rains. Although the gifts were small, they showed the spirit of mutual love and support to encourage farmers in difficult circumstances in the district to buy seeds and fertilizers to promptly overcome the problem and produce effective winter crops./.

*Also on October 21, the Provincial Farmers' Association directly visited and supported families affected by storms and floods in Tan Ky district.

Of the 30 cases supported, 3 families whose relatives died in the floods received support of 3 million VND each.

Mr. Tran Van Huong - Permanent Vice President of Nghe An Farmers' Association presented gifts to a damaged family in Huong Son commune, Tan Ky.

27 households with property damage were supported with 1 million VND/household. The total amount of support was 36 million VND. This amount was supported by the Central Vietnam Farmers' Union and Nghe An Farmers' Union.
