The Farmers' Association and the Lawyers' Association of Nghe An province signed a cooperation program for the period 2026-2030.

The ceremony was attended and presided over by comrades Nguyen Viet Hung - Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association; and Hoang Quoc Hao - Chairman of the Provincial Lawyers' Association. Also present were leaders of the Provincial Farmers' Association and its departments, as well as the Standing Committee of the Provincial Lawyers' Association.

The collaborative content focuses on building a close relationship between the Provincial Farmers' Association and the Provincial Lawyers' Association in disseminating the provisions of the 2024 Land Law and its implementing guidelines; and regulations on the rights and obligations of land users.

Disseminating regulations on land acquisition, compensation, support, and resettlement; resolving land disputes; publicizing laws on complaints and denunciations; mediation at the grassroots level; implementing grassroots democracy; and disseminating the Party and State's guidelines and policies on agriculture, farmers, and rural areas.

The two sides will cooperate in organizing free legal consultations and legal assistance sessions for members and farmers; coordinate in guiding the establishment and maintenance of "Farmers and the Law" clubs; and participate in answering questions and guiding people in carrying out legal procedures related to land.

Organize training courses on legal knowledge and legal dissemination skills for association officials, lecturers, and legal communicators; Coordinate the organization of legal dissemination conferences for members and farmers at the grassroots level; Provide legal expertise to grassroots mediation teams; Participate in advising and guiding the resolution of land-related disputes in the locality.

Simultaneously, coordinate the collection of opinions from farmer members on relevant draft legal documents; participate in providing feedback and social critique according to the functions and duties of each organization; and propose to competent authorities amendments and additions to policies that are not in line with practical realities.

The coordinated program aims to raise awareness and promote compliance with the law among officials, members, and farmers; especially regarding legal regulations on land, complaints, denunciations, grassroots mediation, and regulations directly related to the legitimate rights and interests of the people.

This will enhance the role of the Farmers' Association and the Lawyers' Association in disseminating and educating the public on legal matters; contributing to reducing complex land-related disputes and lawsuits in rural areas. It will also strengthen legal counseling and assistance for members and farmers, contributing to protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the people.
