The "Nghe An Farmers with Safe Agricultural and Food Products 2023" competition.
(Baonghean.vn) - The competition aims to create a healthy and beneficial playground to raise awareness, responsibility, and ethics among farmer members in the production, business, and consumption of safe agricultural products and food.
On October 31st, in Nghia Dan district, the Provincial Farmers' Association organized the "Farmers and Safe Agricultural Products and Food" competition in 2023.
The competition aims to promote the objectives of the project on disseminating information, mobilizing and guiding farmer members in the production, business, and consumption of safe agricultural and food products during the 2020-2023 period. Through this, it creates a healthy and beneficial platform to raise awareness, responsibility, and ethics among farmer members in the production, business, and consumption of safe agricultural and food products. It helps officials, members, and farmers in the area understand the Food Safety Law and seriously implement regulations on food hygiene and safety, while also actively participating in disseminating information to the community.
The competition featured 5 teams from 5 clusters of communes in Nghia Dan district, including: Cluster 1 (Nghia An, Nghia Duc, Nghia Khanh, Nghia Long, Nghia Loc communes); Cluster 2 (Nghia Hung, Nghia Hieu, Nghia Thanh, Nghia Thinh, Nghia Hong communes), Cluster 3 (Nghia Minh, Nghia Mai, Nghia Lam, Nghia Yen, Nghia Son communes), Cluster 4 (Nghia Trung, Nghia Binh, Nghia Hoi communes, Nghia Dan town), and Cluster 5 (Nghia Phu, Nghia Tho, Nghia Loi, Nghia Lac communes).
The participating teams consist of officials, members, and farmers from communes with professional associations or groups, or communes with agricultural products that have been recognized as OCOP products, as well as professional associations and groups in Nghia Dan district.
The competing teams went through four parts, including: Farmers' Greetings; Presentation on OCOP Products; Q&A Session; and Teamwork Challenge.
At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded first prize to the communes in cluster 2, second prize to cluster 5, third prize to cluster 1, and two consolation prizes to the remaining teams.
Alongside the competition, there was an exhibition showcasing safe agricultural and food products from Nghia Dan district.
