With the goal of building families that are "sufficiently two children, prosperous, equal, progressive, happy, and sustainably developed," in recent years, women's associations at all levels and the Population and Health sector have closely coordinated to organize many activities to propagate and educate, raising awareness and responsibility among couples of childbearing age to maintain small family sizes, build happy and sustainable families, and preserve and promote the good cultural values of the family.

Alongside the achievements, preserving and protecting the fine cultural traditions of the family today also presents difficulties and challenges.
In particular, violations of the law and social evils, domestic violence, divorce, separation, sexual abuse, child rape, trafficking of girls and women are increasing; conflicts between generations regarding behavior and lifestyles have been infiltrating families. This significantly affects the quality of the population, the happiness of each individual, family, and society as a whole.

With the theme: "Connecting with love - Finding complete happiness",The "Women and Population and Development" competitionThis will contribute to enhancing the understanding of women members and the public about the Party and State's policies and laws on population and development; the role, responsibilities, and contributions of women in all aspects of life, thereby improving the quality of life.
The competition serves as a healthy, beneficial, and practical platform and opportunity for women to interact and contribute to the field of Population and Development.

This year's competition featured four teams from 23 communes and towns in Nghia Dan district. The competition consisted of three parts: Greetings, Knowledge (with the theme "Understanding and Sharing"), and Talent. The teams demonstrated their understanding of the Party, State, and provincial policies on Population and Development; knowledge and skills in reproductive health care and family planning; and the benefits of screening, diagnosis, and treatment of certain prenatal and neonatal diseases.

In addition, through the presentation section, the teams also expressed their views on the role of women in the family; the key to a happy family, modern women, etc. Some content was presented in the form of skits, which also made an impression on the audience and conveyed many meaningful messages.
