(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 14th, at Vinh University of Technology and Education, the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, in coordination with the Provincial Labor Union and Vinh University of Technology and Education, organized the opening ceremony of the 2015 Skilled Mechanics Competition for Youth in Nghe An Province.

The Nghe An Province Youth Mechanical Engineering Skills Competition is a biennial event aimed at motivating and encouraging young people to actively participate in vocational training to establish themselves and build their careers. It also provides an opportunity for students, workers, and laborers to exchange and learn from each other's experiences, connecting theory with practice, creating quality and value in labor, and contributing to affirming the quality and brand of vocational training at vocational institutions in the province.

At the same time, the competition aims to discover and nurture talented young people in the vocational field; create a mechanism for close coordination between the Youth Union and professional departments and trade unions; and between businesses and vocational training institutions in the province...

The 2015 Nghe An Province Youth Mechanical Engineering Skills Competition attracted 44 contestants, including students from vocational schools, workers from enterprises, and laborers from private mechanical workshops across the province. Contestants will create a welded product (for welding contestants) and a turned product (for turning contestants) based on a design provided by the organizers. The competition will conclude with an awards ceremony on November 15th.
