Hollywood will film a blockbuster in Son Doong Cave.
According to a private source on November 12th, Hollywood will be filming the blockbuster movie Kong: Skull Island in Son Doong, the world's largest cave, located in Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park (Quang Binh province).

Reportedly, the detailed script for the film Kong: Skull Island is currently being submitted to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for licensing. If approved, approximately 300 people with a large amount of equipment from the world's film capital will enter Vietnam.
A massive film set may be built at an undisclosed location, with speculation suggesting it could very well be in the Quang Binh area. Additionally, two other Vietnamese locations, Ninh Binh and Ha Long, have also been chosen by the filmmakers for some scenes in the movie.
Earlier, in a photo posted on his Facebook page on the morning of November 12th, veteran Hollywood star Samuel L. Jackson announced that he would soon be coming to Vietnam to film. Meanwhile, Hollywood Reporter magazine reported that Kong: Skull Island will be filmed in Vietnam, Australia, and Hawaii.
The cast includes Bire Larson, Tom Hiddleston, John C. Reily, Samuel L. Jackson, and Toby Kebbell. Australia's national news agency also reported that the Kong: Skull Island film crew paid A$15 million (approximately VND 222 billion) to film in Queensland, Australia.
