Today marks the first day of questioning government members.
A new feature of this questioning session is that instead of questioning by groups of issues or selecting a fixed list of people to sit in the "hot seat," all members of the Government are being questioned.

Today (October 30), the National Assembly begins its three-day question-and-answer session. According to the program, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan will deliver the opening remarks for the session.
The Government representative presented a report on the implementation of the National Assembly's resolutions on specialized supervision and questioning activities from the beginning of the term to the end of the 4th session of the 14th National Assembly.
Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Nguyen Hoa Binh and Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy Le Minh Tri presented reports on the implementation of National Assembly resolutions on specialized supervision and questioning activities at sessions from the beginning of the term to the end of the 4th session of the 14th National Assembly.
The report summarizing the opinions of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council and Committees on the implementation of thematic supervision resolutions and interpellations from the beginning of the term to the end of the 4th session will be presented by the Secretary General and Head of the National Assembly Office, Nguyen Hanh Phuc.
The National Assembly will also hear a report from the Head of the People's Petition Committee of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the results of monitoring the resolution of petitions submitted by voters to this session.
After the reports were completed, the National Assembly began questioning members of the Government, the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, and the Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy regarding the implementation of the above contents.
