Mr. Hoang Van Khanh - Director of Nghe An Province Urban Environment Company Limited said: For the past two days, the company's staff and workers have been working hard, working overtime, and working hard day and night, but the amount of garbage still cannot be cleared.
Normally, Vinh City has over 300 tons of household waste every day. Storm No. 2 left over 1,300 tons of waste. Although workers of the Provincial Urban Environment Company worked overtime, the maximum number of vehicles mobilized each day was only over 60 vehicles/day.
The company also cannot hire additional vehicles to transport garbage, because the vehicles are not suitable for specialized purposes when collecting garbage.

According to Mr. Khanh, many roads were cleared the day before, but the next day, many green branches were collected from people's gardens and gathered on both sides of the road. With the amount of garbage many times more than usual after the storm, it will take the provincial Urban Environment Company a few days to clean it all up.
