| A contestant shared that Goong Lake is a freshwater lake, so freshwater fishing skills must be used, such as not needing to use large baits. Freshwater fish often eat algae, plankton, and smaller fish, so the bait is usually quite simple, fragrant, and small in size, mainly crickets, worms, bananas, cockroaches, ant eggs, etc. In addition, commercially available baits with fragrant scents are also quite effective in attracting fish.
