More than 100 Yen Thanh students get free haircuts

(Baonghean.vn) - Responding to the program "Support to go to school" launched by Yen Thanh district Youth Union, on August 29, the Youth Union of Long Thanh commune - Yen Thanh organized a volunteer program to cut hair for free for students of the commune's primary school.

The program attracted 10 volunteers who are members of the Youth Union and youth from the Youth Union branches. Among them, there are some youth union members who are professional hairdressers from hair salons in the area.

In one day, with enthusiasm, eagerness, and excitement, the volunteers completed free haircuts for more than 100 students at the Primary School. In addition, the volunteers also instructed the students on hair care methods to have healthy hair, how to eat hygienically, and always keep their bodies and hair neat.

This is one of the activities of Long Thanh Commune Youth Union to prepare for the children to enter the new school year 2017 - 2018. It demonstrates the care of the local Youth Union for the children. At the same time, it is also an opportunity for the members to exchange experiences, learn from each other as well as create closeness, strengthen the spirit of solidarity to build an increasingly strong Youth Union./.
