(Baonghean.vn) - From 2011 to June 2015, the province's industrial promotion activities supported investment in nearly 300 production development projects in the area with a total investment capital of 100,402.2 million VND.

HIndustrial promotion activities during this period focused on the following areas: Organizing vocational training for 4,840 workers, including trades such as rattan and bamboo weaving, brocade weaving, industrial garment making, production of civil and handicraft wood products, incense making, seafood processing, broom making, agricultural machinery repair, blacksmithing, etc.

Workers in traditional incense-making villages are participating in the skilled craftsman competition organized by the Provincial Cooperative Union.

In the past period, the industrial promotion program supported the construction of 4 demonstration models of clean fish sauce production and processing, cooking oil production, rice vermicelli production, and wood carving using computer technology; organized 2 rounds of provincial-level selection of outstanding rural industrial products with 45 participating products; and participated in 14 trade fairs and exhibitions of industrial, handicraft and traditional village products inside and outside the province.

In addition, industrial promotion activities supported 5 establishments and craft villages producing incense, wine, and seafood processing in building and registering product trademarks; supported 34 production facilities in investing in new production lines, expanding production scale, transferring technology and applying advanced machinery and scientific and technical advancements in the fields of: processing agricultural, forestry, and aquatic products, food, manufacturing building materials, plastic products, and household electrical appliances; and supported 50 craft villages recognized by the Provincial People's Committee in organizing the ceremony to receive their craft village recognition certificates.
