Over 120 soldiers helped local people build new rural roads in An Hoa (Quynh Luu).
(Baonghean.vn) - The Provincial Military Command, in coordination with the Department of Transport, the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, and local authorities, is constructing new rural roads in An Hoa commune, Quynh Luu district.
In Tan Thang hamlet, the Provincial Military Command deployed 120 officers and soldiers from the command headquarters to coordinate with local militia and residents to pour concrete for a 350-meter-long, 3.5-meter-wide inter-village road. The estimated total value of materials and labor to complete the road is over 400 million VND, a joint effort between the Provincial Military Command and the Department of Transport, contributing to the local new rural development program.

On this occasion, Lieutenant Colonel Thai Duc Hanh presented 10 gifts to 10 families with preferential policies and particularly disadvantaged households in the commune; he also presented 10 gifts to fishermen and more than 500 flags to local fishermen.
In particular, Lieutenant Colonel Thai Duc Hanh personally visited, presented gifts, and offered encouragement to the families of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thuc and Mr. Nguyen Quang Tong in Tan An hamlet.
The Provincial Military Command and local Party committees and authorities have commenced the construction of a "House of Compassion" for Catholic parishioner Nguyen Van Phat, whose family is in difficult circumstances and currently lacks housing; the Provincial Military Command contributed 60 million VND from its "Personal Savings for the Needy" fund.

Lieutenant Colonel Thai Duc Hanh kindly visited and encouraged the family of Mr. Nguyen Van Phap, and at the same time assigned the task to the Military Command of Quynh Luu district to arrange personnel to assist the family in the house construction process.
On this occasion, the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union also presented 10 gifts to 10 families with special difficult circumstances in An Hoa commune.
