In 2020, despite facing many difficulties such as prolonged heatwaves and droughts; floods, especially the floods caused by Typhoon No. 9 which caused significant damage to livestock, poultry, aquaculture, and winter crops; however,all levels of associationsFarmers have overcome difficulties together and achieved positive results.

The work of building and strengthening the organization of associations at all levels has been constantly innovated in terms of content and methods of activities. The number of branches that hold regular meetings reached nearly 80%, and the percentage of members attending regular meetings reached over 75%. The whole province admitted 10,896 new members, achieving 106.7% of the set target.

As a result, 184,802 households achieved the title of excellent producers and business owners at various levels. Many localities had a high number of households achieving the title of excellent farmers in production and business, such as Dien Chau, Yen Thanh, and Thanh Chuong.

In 2020, the provincial-level Farmers' Association directly guided the establishment of 80 cooperative groups and 4 cooperatives; built 114 economic models based on linkages, cooperative production, and ensuring safety, of which the Provincial Farmers' Association directly invested capital in building 11 models;Central CommitteeImplement the construction of 3 models to support the development of the collective economy.

The Farmers' Support Fund continues to be supplemented, contributing to the development and replication of many effective economic models. The total amount of the Farmers' Support Fund in the entire province is 70 billion 124 million VND, currently invested in loans for 2,023 member households.
