Over 2,000 volunteers donated blood in Anh Son.

(Baonghean.vn) - The 2015 voluntary blood donation event in Anh Son district attracted more than 2000 volunteers. The organizing committee collected 846 units of blood.

On November 7th, the Anh Son District Voluntary Blood Donation Campaign Committee, in coordination with the Nghe An Provincial Hematology Center, organized the "Voluntary Blood Donation Day" in 2015.

Over 2000 volunteers from Anh Son district participated in the blood donation drive.

This is an annual activity with profound humanitarian significance, aimed at widely disseminating information to all segments of the population in the district about the importance of donating blood to save lives, and fostering a spirit of compassion, love, and responsibility towards the community.

By the end of the program, the organizers had collected 846 units of blood.

Thanks to effective propaganda and mobilization efforts by all levels of government and organizations, with the spirit of "Donate blood to save lives," and "One drop of blood given saves a life," more than 2,120 volunteers, including officers and soldiers of the armed forces, civil servants, and a large number of people from 21 communes and towns, responded and registered to participate in voluntary blood donation, resulting in 846 units of blood.
