Over 2,400 students were recognized as outstanding 12th-grade students in Nghe An province.
On the evening of October 14th, the Nghe An Department of Education and Training announced the results of the 12th grade gifted student competition for the 2024-2025 school year.
According to the recently announced results, in the exam...excellent studentsIn the 2024-2025 school year, over 2,400 students in Nghe An province were recognized as outstanding students in grade 12. This included 125 first prizes, 1,123 second prizes, 609 third prizes, and 629 consolation prizes. Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School had the highest number of award-winning students and the most first prizes. Many students from the school also achieved top scores in various subjects.
In the list of subjects with first-place winners, in Group A, English had the highest number of first-place winners with 16 students. Of these, 13 students were from Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, 2 students were from Vinh University High School for the Gifted, and 1 student was from Huynh Thuc Khang High School.
Following English, Mathematics and Physics also had a high number of first-place winners, with 13 students each. Chemistry and Biology each had 12 first-place winners.
In the social sciences category, 10 students won first prize in Literature, 12 in History, 11 in Geography, 10 in Economics and Law Education, 2 in Russian, and 1 each in Japanese and 1 in French.

In Group B, Chemistry, Biology, Literature, History, and Geography each had one student who won first prize.
In the Vocational Education and Continuing Education sector, there was only one first prize winner in Literature.
In this year's provincial-level excellent student competition, 3,592 12th-grade students from across the province are participating in 10 subjects: Mathematics, Informatics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature, History, Geography, Economics and Law Education, and Foreign Language.

In this exam, candidates are divided into two groups. Group B includes high schools from the five mountainous districts of Con Cuong, Tuong Duong, Ky Son, Quy Chau, and Que Phong, as well as Quy Hop 3 High School and private high schools. Group A includes all remaining schools.
For the 12th grade in the Continuing Education program at the high school level, there is only one table.
