Over 20 people caught gambling on the World Cup were apprehended by police.
The organizer, Nguyen, was caught red-handed by the police while gambling on World Cup football matches at his private residence with 22 other individuals.

On the afternoon of July 15th, the police in Huong Tra town (Thua Thien-Hue province) announced that they had just dismantled a gambling den operating through football betting, arresting 23 individuals and seizing numerous pieces of evidence, equipment, and a large amount of cash.
Earlier, at 9:40 PM on July 14th, Nguyen Huu Nguyen (33 years old, residing in Van Cu village, Huong Toan commune, Huong Tra town) organized a gambling session for 22 other individuals, involving betting on World Cup football matches, at his private residence.

The individuals were caught red-handed by the police while gambling. At the time of the raid, the police discovered and seized numerous items and equipment related to the gambling activity, including: 1 laptop and a Wi-Fi router; 20 mobile phones of various types, 20 motorbikes, and over 120 million VND.
The Huong Tra town police are currently continuing their investigation and handling the case according to the law.
