More than 200 members who are elderly, single people with difficult circumstances were examined, had their blood pressure measured, and had ultrasounds done for free by doctors and nurses who are children of Tho Thanh commune who are working at hospitals such as: Provincial General Hospital; Vinh City General Hospital; Hospital 115, Yen Thanh District General Hospital...
On this occasion, the Tho Thanh Commune Volunteer Group presented over 200 gifts including cash, milk, and supplements to members with a total value of up to 40 million VND. In addition, the Hien Luong Social Protection Center in Tho Thanh Commune also supported 10 gifts for members.
Meaningful gifts show the gratitude of the community and society to the elderly on the traditional day of the Elderly Association on October 1 every year.
