Over 26,000 people received medical care during the two-day province-wide health check-up campaign.
During the first two days of the campaign (May 16th and 17th, 2026), the health check-up and disease screening campaign for people throughout the province achieved positive results. With thorough preparation and the decisive involvement of the entire political system, more than 26,000 people accessed quality medical services right at the local level.

As of 5:30 PM on May 17th, the entire province had received and screened a total of 26,073 people. A highlight of this campaign was the coordinated effort, with 100% of the province's health stations simultaneously deploying and organizing centralized screening points to serve the public. The large number of participants not only demonstrates the significant need for healthcare but also reflects the public's trust in the medical staff.
The success of the early days of the campaign stemmed from the seamless coordination between different levels. Leading units such as Nghe An Friendship General Hospital, Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, and Oncology Hospital, along with Health Centers and Health Stations, implemented professional training systematically. In particular, at major examination points, people also received direct support from experts from central-level hospitals such as Viet Duc Hospital and Viet Xo Hospital.

With the spirit of "For a healthier Vietnam," people in the localities participated enthusiastically and excitedly. The outreach efforts were effectively implemented through the local public address system, ensuring information reached every household. Thanks to the involvement of local Party committees and authorities, professional safety and security at all examination points were absolutely ensured, with no incidents occurring.
Following two days of intensive campaigning, the Nghe An Health Department is now focusing on the data compilation and digitization phase. The Department of Health is currently urging health centers to review and requesting communes to promptly complete the data entry of residents into the common system. It is expected that all supplementary data entry will be completed by May 18th to serve the long-term health management and monitoring of the population.
