Over 300 students participated in an e-commerce training conference at Vinh University of Technology and Education.
On the morning of November 14th, at the main hall of Vinh University of Technology and Education, the Nghe An Department of Industry and Trade, in coordination with the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM) and Vinh University of Technology and Education, organized a training conference with the theme "Students and E-commerce - Leading the Vision, Shaping the Digital Era".
This is a practical activity aimed at effectively implementing Plan No. 400/KH-UBND dated July 21, 2021, of the People's Committee of Nghe An province on the development of e-commerce in the period 2021 - 2025, while also preparing young human resources to serve the development of the digital economy and digital society in the period 2026 - 2030 of the province.

In his opening remarks at the conference, Mr. Vo Quang Tuan, Deputy Director of the Nghe An Department of Industry and Trade, emphasized: “We are entering a period where e-commerce and digital business are not just trends but core competencies of the modern economy. Equipping students with digital knowledge and skills is an investment in the future – creating a foundation of high-quality human resources for Nghe An to successfully implement comprehensive digital transformation.”
On behalf of the university, Associate Professor, Dr. Cao Danh Chinh – Vice Rector of Vinh University of Technology and Education, affirmed: Collaborating with state management agencies and businesses is the right direction to help students access practical experience and seize career opportunities in the field of e-commerce and digital economy.

The training program attracted a large number of lecturers and students from economics, information technology, and other fields, along with many leading experts in e-commerce, artificial intelligence, and digital communication.
In the thematic presentations, delegates delivered many engaging and up-to-date topics, including: an overview of e-commerce and major directions for the 2026-2030 period; the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in digital business, helping students better understand how to master the tool and shape the future in the technology era; job opportunities and career development for "digital professionals" in the context of the digital economy; building an online identity through a digital portfolio and personal website; and secrets to impressing recruiters with a personal touch in the modern workplace.

The interactive discussions and mini-games were lively, creating an exciting learning atmosphere and giving students the opportunity to exchange ideas directly with experts, thereby helping them better define their career paths and necessary skills in the digital age.
Through this program, the Nghe An Department of Industry and Trade continues to affirm its leading role in connecting and promoting the development of e-commerce and the digital economy, making Nghe An a shining example in training and developing digital skills for the younger generation – the digital citizens of the future.
