Over 800 people in Thanh Chuong participated in voluntary blood donation.
(Baonghean.vn) - At this blood donation drive, officials, Party members, civil servants, armed forces personnel, teachers, students, etc., from various communes and agencies donated 400 units of blood.
On the morning of April 26th, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation in Thanh Chuong District, in coordination with the Nghe An Center for Hematology and Blood Transfusion, organized the first Voluntary Blood Donation Day for Community Health in 2018, with the participation of over 800 volunteers.

Thanks to effective propaganda and mobilization efforts, and the attention of Party committees and authorities at all levels, voluntary blood donation in Thanh Chuong district has received enthusiastic support from officials and the people in recent times.
From 2011 to the present, the voluntary blood donation movement in Thanh Chuong has attracted nearly 7,000 volunteers, with the amount of blood collected consistently exceeding the assigned target. In addition, the district has established a living blood bank with over 30 volunteers at the General Hospital and youth union members from various agencies and units.
