(Baonghean.vn) - On December 28th and 29th, Vinh International Hospital, the Nghe An Journalists' Association, and the Nghe An Red Cross Society jointly organized a program to provide free medical examinations and medication to over 800 people in the two mountainous districts of Que Phong and Quy Chau.

Doctors and medical staff provided free medical examinations and medication to residents in Tien Phong commune (Que Phong district).

In Tien Phong commune (Que Phong district) and Chau Hoi commune (Quy Chau district), the team provided free medical examinations and medicine to over 800 people from ethnic minority groups such as the Thai, Mong, and Khmu. The total value of the medicine distributed in this round amounted to 30 million VND.

The delegation presented gifts to households facing extreme hardship.

On this occasion, the delegation also presented 120 gift packages to particularly disadvantaged households in both localities, including rice, cooking oil, etc.
