A brawl at a bar leaves one person dead.

On the night of January 31st, a brawl broke out between two groups of young men at Bar 268. When the police arrived at the scene, the perpetrators quickly fled.

On February 1st, the Tien Giang Provincial Police announced that relevant authorities are investigating the cause of a fight that resulted in one death at a bar in My Tho City.

According to initial information, at around 10 PM on January 31st, a horrific brawl broke out between two groups of young men in front of Bar 268 (on Lo Tap Doan Street, Ward 5, My Tho City).

By the time the police arrived at the scene, the suspect had already fled. At the scene, only Tran Trung Nhan (25 years old, residing in Tan Ly Tay commune, Chau Thanh district, Tien Giang province) remained, seriously injured with multiple stab and slash wounds.

Shortly afterward, the victim was taken to Tien Giang Central General Hospital for emergency treatment but died later.

According to the autopsy results, the victim died from acute hemorrhagic shock, with multiple penetrating wounds to the chest and abdomen, a ruptured spleen, and a punctured lung.

By the morning of February 1st, the Criminal Police Department, in coordination with the Forensic Technical Department of the Tien Giang Provincial Police and other functional units, conducted a scene investigation and launched an inquiry into the incident.

The police are currently urgently pursuing the remaining members of the two youth gangs to assist in the investigation.
