Honda launches Winner 150 to compete with Exciter in Vietnam.

The Japanese automaker unveiled its first 150cc manual transmission motorcycle for the Vietnamese market at the 2016 motorcycle and scooter exhibition.

The Honda Winner is scheduled to go on sale starting in June.

The new Winner 150 is the first manual transmission motorcycle produced by Honda in Vietnam, following its entry into the manual transmission motorcycle market in October 2014 with the MSX 125cc model imported from Thailand.

Developed based on the concept of a sports bike in two major Southeast Asian motorcycle markets, Indonesia and Thailand, the Winner 150 nIt stands out with its sharp, strong lines, embodying the sporty style of a manual motorcycle. The lighting system features LED headlights, prominent taillights, and an instrument panel with an integrated LCD screen displaying speed information.

In terms of technology, the Winner 150 uses a PGM-FI electronic fuel injection engine, 150cc, DOHC, 6-speed gearbox, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, satisfying the need for flexible acceleration and operation on all roads while ensuring optimal fuel efficiency.

The Winner 150 is equipped with a range of safety features, including a single-shock rear suspension that not only creates a robust and sporty image but also improves balance and handling. The bike features a combined front and rear disc brake system, along with large-diameter wheels (90/80 front and 120/70 rear) and large tubeless tires for enhanced traction. Additionally, it boasts a large 4.5-liter fuel tank.

The price of Honda's 150cc manual motorcycle has not yet been revealed.
