A purple and blue Honda SH 300i owned by a Saigon enthusiast.

This genuine SH scooter has been customized with a purple-blue paint job, upgraded rear suspension, and added aftermarket accessories, costing nearly 30 million VND in total.

The original model is a genuine Vietnamese-made SH 300i, which a car enthusiast in Ho Chi Minh City customized to his liking. From its original white color, he applied a purple-blue Titanium decal wrap. The headlight lenses were also covered with titanium film.

Apart from a few modifications to the 300cc scooter, such as Ohlins rear shock absorbers, mirrors, handlebar grips, and a Rizoma oil cap, the overall bike remains the same. The Saigon enthusiast shared that the total cost of replacing parts and applying decals was approximately 30 million VND.

The official Honda SH 300i was first launched to Vietnamese customers in Hanoi around mid-December 2016, priced at 248 million VND and available in three colors.

The new SH 300i stands out with its two-tiered, angular LED headlights that create a bold look, and V-shaped LED daytime running lights against a yellow background for the turn signals. The taillights are shaped like two intersecting diagonal strips. The SH300i truly embodies the essence of a large-wheeled scooter designed for Europe, with its meticulously crafted details and less clunky design compared to its two younger siblings.

The SH300i also uses a smart key, has a 19-liter storage compartment large enough to fit a full-face helmet, 2-channel ABS brakes, and 16-inch wheels. The bike does not have an Idling Stop system.

The motorcycle's engine is a SOHC, 300cc single-cylinder, 4-valve, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected unit, meeting Euro 4 emission standards, producing 25 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 25.5 Nm at 5,000 rpm. The fuel tank capacity is 9 liters.
