Recently, Hong Linh Ha Tinh has been actively experimenting with foreign players to improve their squad. However, they have caused a big surprise by signing two completely new foreign players.
At the recent Thien Long Cup friendly tournament, Hong Linh Ha Tinh registered three foreign players: Lucas Larade, Onoja Joseph, and Michael Ibe. Among them, midfielder Onoja Joseph performed quite well for Becamex Binh Duong last season, while Michael Ibe is also a versatile midfielder, scoring 10 goals and providing 4 assists last season.
But the most outstanding player is still center-back Lucas Larade. This player, born in 1999, is a Martinique national team player and has played for several famous clubs such as Monaco (U21) and Cercle Brugge (Belgium).

However, in recent days, the Nui Hong team has surprised fans with one unexpected achievement after another. First, they successfully loaned striker Geovane Magno from Hanoi Police. This Brazilian player has proven his worth in Vietnam playing for Saigon FC, The Cong Viettel, Hanoi FC, and Hanoi Police. After 102 matches in Vietnam, Geovane Magno has scored 32 goals and provided 30 assists, a very impressive number.
Furthermore, this player born in 1994 is quite versatile, capable of playing in multiple positions in both midfield and attack. Therefore, he offers coach Nguyen Thanh Cong many options for the new season.
For that reason, Hong Linh Ha Tinh has continued to recruit another striker. That is Noel Mbo, a 1.85m tall English player. This player, born in 1999, has played and scored in the qualifying rounds of top European tournaments such as the Champions League and UEFA Conference League. However, Noel Mbo's goal-scoring record is not very impressive. After 119 matches, the 25-year-old striker has only scored 20 goals and provided 9 assists.
