Nghe An 'hot boy' won First Prize in Perfect Version
(Baonghean.vn) - Dao Ngoc Sang, a young man from Tan Ky (Nghe An) just won first prize in episode 13 of the program "Perfect Version" when he covered the hit song "Lac Troi" by Son Tung M-TP.

After 2 rounds of Show and Shine in episode 13 of the program "Perfect Version" on channel HTV7, Dao Ngoc Sang won spectacularly over the remaining contestants and won First Prize with 50 million VND.
In the Performance round, Dao Ngoc Sang covered the song "Lac Troi" by male singer Son Tung M-TP in a Pop style, leaving the judges with one surprise after another.

In the first part of his performance, Dao Ngoc Sang sang along to the song “Mouse Wedding” to “trick” the judges’ ears. Then he switched to Pop music, and in the middle, Dao Ngoc Sang subtly added a short verse with a folk melody.
The appearance of Dao Ngoc Sang in this episode made singer My Tam, a judge of the show, extremely happy when she realized Sang was her former student.

My Tam gave Sang compliments. Meanwhile, the show's MC, actor Dai Nghia, also commented that Sang acted very deeply and was very absorbed in his singing.
Sharing with Nghe An Newspaper, Ngoc Sang said: "Standing on this stage, singing for you, that is the gift I want to give you - My Tam. Because I know My Tam is a judge of this program. I am very happy and excited to meet Tam, Quang Dung and Trung Quan again."
The success of the song “Lac troi” helped Dao Ngoc Sang advance to the Shining round. In the Shining round, the task of covering the song “Dau mua” by Trung Quan Idol was very difficult, but Sang was very skillful and smart when covering this song in the EDM music genre.

Dao Ngoc Sang (born in 1996, Tan Ky town, Tan Ky district, Nghe An), is a student at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. Sang is a young singer who matured after the Voice of Vietnam 2015 contest.
With his good-looking appearance and sweet, soulful voice, Ngoc Sang has won the hearts of many audiences. MC Phan Anh once gave him the title "Hot boy of Nghe An", and he is one of the four favorite students of Team My Tam.
Dao Ngoc Sang is actively investing in his passion for music so that he can become more mature on the path he has chosen.
Perfect Version is a playground for re-performing popular songs (covers) in an international format called Cover Star. Not only a competition for good voices, Perfect Version is also a challenging competition for musical talents in terms of their ability to orient and create new versions suitable to the tastes and increasingly high enjoyment needs of the audience. The 2017 Perfect Version will consist of 15 episodes, each with four contestants. Depending on the individual strengths of each contestant, each episode will have many different cover styles such as: jazz, rock, RnB, bolero, contemporary folk songs... Perfect Version will air at 9:30 pm every Wednesday on HTV7, starting from March 8, 2017. |
