Libero Le Thi Thanh Lien was born in 1993, 1m55 tall, before officially becoming an athlete of Duc Giang Ha Noi Chemicals, she was on the payroll of Nghe An women's volleyball team. Because Nghe An competes in the A1 category, in previous years she played for many strong teams such as: Saigon TBD Beer, Phu Rieng Rubber...

Since the age of 16, Thanh Lien has been the main Libero of the Vietnam National Youth Women's Volleyball Team. For 3 consecutive years from 2010-2012, Le Thi Thanh Lien was on the list of the National Women's Volleyball Team.

Born and raised in the countryside of Hop Thanh - Yen Thanh where only rice is known, lives on rice, grows up from rice. But from a young age, "Nam Lun Xinh" (Thanh Lien's nickname) had a strong love for volleyball. In 6th grade, she was one of the youngest students, but with her love, enthusiasm, agility, and a little talent for "volleyball", she was called to the school team to participate in the Phu Dong Sports Festival that year.

Although she came to volleyball so early, the girl born in 1993 practiced volleyball seriously at the age of 15. At the age of 15, she was recruited into the gifted team of Nghe An province, and from here, our Libero's volleyball life began a new chapter.

One year after joining the gifted team. For many people, "five years is like a nap", but for Lien it was more than enough. She was called up to the National Youth Team and participated in the first international tournament of her life. Along with Ta Dieu Linh (TTLVPB) Nguyen Thi Kim Lien (VTVBDLA), Le Thi Thanh Lien is always considered the top Libero of Vietnam.

With her fiery spirit, beautiful flying saves, her intense love for volleyball, and her foot saves that no one else can do. That may be what makes me and us remember her.

At the age of 25, on the field she may be a strong girl, but off the field Thanh Lien is just a girl. As a girl, she also has passions, her passions are beauty, shopping, reading newspapers, and watching volleyball.

In particular, Thanh Lien is also a fan, admirer and lover of superstar Lionel Messi. When asked what she would do if there was no volleyball? She answered gently: "Maybe I would go to school like my friends, but I really love volleyball, so if I can't become a professional athlete, I will go to school to become a coach in the future."
