Houthi rebels claim to have launched hypersonic missiles at Israel.
Houthi forces claimed responsibility for launching hypersonic missiles at Israel in retaliation for attacks on Yemen's capital, Sanaa.

According to RIA Novosti on September 26, the Houthis' Telegram channel stated that the ruling Shiite military-political movement "Ansar Allah" in northern Yemen – a group that claims support for the Hamas Islamic movement in Gaza – launched a hypersonic missile with several warheads towards the Israeli capital, Tel Aviv.
"Forces in Yemen have conducted a high-quality military operation using the 'Palestine-2' hypersonic ballistic missile with a separable warhead. The operation targeted several key targets in the occupied Jaffa region," the Houthi forces' Telegram channel stated.
Earlier, on September 25, the Israeli Air Force launched a series of airstrikes against Houthi targets in Yemen's capital, Sanaa. According to the Israeli military, the attack targeted the headquarters of the "Ansar-Alla" group, complexes of law enforcement and intelligence services, the headquarters of the military information department, and military camps near the Yemeni capital.
This is how the Israel Defense Forces responded to a drone strike on a hotel in the Eilat resort on Israel's Red Sea coast, which injured more than 20 people.
The Houthi have attacked Israel with hundreds of missiles and drones since late 2023. The group explains its actions as a show of solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza, where Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) military operations continue. Most attacks have been thwarted. In return, Israel has conducted several large-scale air operations against Houthi facilities in Yemen, including ports, power plants, factories, and the Sana'a airport.
