Huawei Nova 15 Max launched internationally: 8,500 mAh battery and RYYB camera.

Huawei has officially confirmed plans to expand the Nova 15 product line internationally with a new version called the Nova 15 Max. According to the company, the device will be unveiled at a technology event in Thailand on May 7th. This follows the introduction of the Nova 15, Nova 15 Pro, and Nova 15 Ultra in the Chinese market in December 2025.

A breakthrough in battery capacity and design language.

Based on the information and images released, the Nova 15 Max boasts a distinctly different design language compared to other high-end models in the same line. The most important highlight of this smartphone is its massive 8,500 mAh battery. This is a superior capacity, targeting users who need to use their phones intensively or who frequently travel without the opportunity to constantly charge their devices.

To power the large battery, Huawei equipped the device with 40W fast charging technology. Although this charging speed is average compared to the 8,500 mAh capacity, the device still ensures a stable power supply for extended use.

Specifications and display capabilities

In terms of hardware, experts believe the Nova 15 Max is the international version of the Enjoy 90 Pro Max recently launched in China. The device is expected to integrate the Kirin 8000 processor, along with a 6.84-inch AMOLED display, providing ample screen space and sharp image quality.

The phone's optical system includes a 50-megapixel main camera using Huawei's signature RYYB sensor, which enhances light capture in low-light conditions. On the front is an 8-megapixel selfie camera. Additionally, the Nova 15 Max is equipped with a stereo speaker system to optimize the entertainment experience. Upon its official release, the device is expected to be available in three different color options.
