Hue awarded prizes to two lucky tourists in 2015.
On December 26th, the Hue Imperial City Relics Conservation Center held a ceremony to announce its 2016 tourism promotion program and award prizes to lucky tourists who visited the Hue Heritage site in 2015.

Mr. Ngo Hoan Toan (Vietnamese expatriate in Germany) is the 2,000,100th visitor and Ms. Arino Pascale (French) is the 2,000,200th visitor.
These are the lucky tourists who visited Hue Heritage Site in 2015 and won prize packages worth 25 million and 35 million VND respectively, including many attractive offers, promotions and gifts.
Mr. Phan Thanh Hai, Director of the Hue Imperial City Relics Conservation Center, said that in 2016, the center continued to organize the "Golden Week of Tourism at Hue Heritage Sites" promotion program.

Specifically, the first promotional week will take place from April 23-29, 2016, in response to the Hue Festival 2016; the second promotional week will take place from September 2-8, 2016, to celebrate National Day on September 2nd; and the third promotional week will take place from December 24-30, 2016, to welcome the New Year 2017.
During these promotional campaigns, the Hue Imperial City Relics Conservation Center will organize many unique activities and events, as well as attractive promotional offers and additional services.
In 2015, the Hue Imperial City Relics Conservation Center launched four tourism promotion campaigns at the Hue Heritage site.

As of December 25th, more than 2 million visitors had visited the Hue heritage site. Notably, the number of international visitors to Hue's historical sites exceeded 1 million for the first time, reaching approximately 1,050,000, an increase of over 13% compared to 2014.
Notably, during the tourism stimulus campaigns in 2015, the number of visitors to Hue's historical sites increased by 10 to 30% compared to the same period in 2014. Revenue from entrance tickets to Hue's historical sites in 2015 reached approximately 205 billion VND, exceeding the 2014 figure by more than 65 billion VND.
