Hung Nguyen: 5 illegal sand docks are operating
(Baonghean.vn) - Hung Nguyen district currently has 5 unlicensed sand docks still operating, causing public outrage.
Currently, Hung Nguyen district has 13 sand wharves, of which 8 have been licensed as inland waterway wharves, while 5 have not been licensed. The illegal sand and gravel gathering and trading not only violates the Land Law, obstructs waterway traffic, encroaches on dike corridors, but also pollutes the environment and facilitates illegal sand and gravel mining.

Since the beginning of 2017, the district has established an interdisciplinary team to inspect and fine each enterprise 2 million VND; At the same time, the wharves owners have been required to complete documents and procedures to apply for inland waterway wharves licenses.
"Illegal sand docks are often operated secretly, making them difficult to manage.
