Hung Thong received the Certificate of recognition for meeting new rural standards

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 20, Hung Thong commune (Hung Nguyen) solemnly held a ceremony to receive the Certificate of recognition for meeting new rural standards (NTM) in 2015.

After 4 years of implementing the goal of building a new rural area, the appearance of Hung Thong countryside is increasingly prosperous, people's lives are improving day by day. The average economic growth rate is 12.4%/year; average income per capita is 25 million VND/year; the poverty rate is 4.6%.

Awarding Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee to collectives with outstanding achievements.

The locality has focused on mobilizing 18 billion VND in investment to build infrastructure, complete nearly 20 km of rural roads and roads to the fields in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Transport; mobilized 9.18 billion VND to carry out land consolidation work... The total amount of projects in the area is 195 billion VND, of which people contributed and donated land 109 billion VND.

Regarding the labor structure, more than 90% of the labor force has regular jobs; the commune meets national standards on health; the environment of village roads and alleys is green, clean and beautiful; 8/11 hamlets are recognized as cultural villages; 4/4 schools are recognized as national standard schools; 84% of families are cultural. Education is taken care of, national defense and security are ensured, and the political system is strong and comprehensive.

At the ceremony, on behalf of the Party Committee, Comrade Hoang Van Phi - Secretary of Hung Nguyen District Party Committee awarded the Certificate of New Rural Standard to the commune and presented the Provincial People's Committee with a welfare project worth 500 million VND. On this occasion, 4 collectives and 4 individuals of Hung Thong commune were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Provincial People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in the New Rural Construction Movement.
