Instructions on how to check your 10th grade exam results in Hanoi for the 2025-2026 academic year.
From July 4th, 2025, Hanoi candidates can check their 10th grade exam scores for the 2025-2026 school year, along with the admission cutoff scores, on two official portals, marking the first time the new education program has been applied to this exam.

Use your student ID, identification code, or registration number to look up your results. Exam scores and cutoff scores will be announced on the same day, July 4, 2025, instead of separately as before.
By the end of June 2025, approximately 103,000 students in Hanoi had completed the entrance exam for non-specialized public high schools, taking three subjects: Mathematics, Literature, and Foreign Language (primarily English). This was the first year implementing the new general education program, with changes in both content and structure to the exam.
The admission score is calculated as follows: Math score + Literature score + Foreign language score + Bonus/incentive points (if any).
Experts predict that the cut-off scores for each subject may increase slightly by 0.25-0.5 points due to this year's exam being easier than expected. However, the Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, emphasized that cut-off scores depend on the competition ratio and the quality of candidates at each school, so all predictions are for reference only. The final results will be clear after the grading and review meeting.
Candidates register for 3 preferences, including 2 preferences within their registered household area and 1 preference of their choice. The school will issue the results notification no later than July 8, 2025. Candidates wishing to appeal their results can submit their applications from July 4 to July 10, 2025. From July 10 to July 12, 2025, admitted students must confirm their enrollment.
