Hoang Thuy Linh wore a youthful and sexy outfit to the event announcing Project No. 1 - The Debut in Ho Chi Minh City. The female singer is a judge in this competition. She had just completed the first three days of filming and was very excited to meet young, creative singing talents.

Huong Tram will be joining Hoang Thuy Linh in the first season of The Debut.

Duc Phuc has been criticized for being too young and unsuitable to be a judge in a music competition. However, the 22-year-old singer confidently stated that he possesses sufficient professional knowledge to offer helpful comments and advice to the contestants. "Many contestants are older than me, but I don't feel pressured. I judge with a relaxed and cheerful attitude. I will share with them the singing experience I've accumulated over time."

The three judges of The Debut at the launch event in Ho Chi Minh City. This competition aims to discover breakthrough talents for the entertainment industry. Hoang Thuy Linh, Duc Phuc, and Huong Tram will accompany the contestants throughout 14 episodes, corresponding to 9 rounds of competition.

Director Quang Huy is the producer of the program The Debut. He believes that Vietnam currently has many talented singers who haven't had the opportunity to develop their potential. "I want to create a new generation of artists. I'm ready to share my experience and build a basic foundation so that they can best develop their strengths. I've spent three years preparing for this program."

Participating in Project #1, contestants are given the opportunity to experience the real life of an entertainer with rigorous challenges, and to acquire and supplement diverse professional knowledge ranging from vocal techniques, stage performance style, fashion aesthetics, communication skills, etiquette, and social knowledge. These are the foundations that will help young people pursue a professional singing career in the future. The Debut airs at 9 PM every Friday on Vietnam Television, starting in June.
