In the minds of Buddhists, Uncle Ho is always a deeply and infinitely respected figure. This is also the core spirit that Buddha appeared in the world - to show people the way to overcome suffering, towards liberation. Between Buddhist thought and Uncle Ho's thought, there is a profound and humane encounter.

In the eyes of Buddhists, the Sen Village Festival is not only a cultural event to promote the beautiful image of Nghe An, but also an opportunity to honor and show gratitude to Uncle Ho - an outstanding son of Nghe An, the great leader of the Vietnamese people. We hope that the Sen Village Festival will not only be the pride of Nghe An, but also become a national cultural brand - a place where the affection, gratitude and respect of all generations converge for the Father of the nation, who sacrificed his whole life for the Fatherland and the People.

Actor Manh Truong: Love for Uncle Ho is the foundation for his acting career to flourish

When I received the invitation to attend the programs of the Film Week celebrating the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday in Nghe An, I immediately arranged my work to attend. Although I had been to Nghe An to film many times before, at that time the film crew only filmed in remote areas. Today I had the opportunity to set foot in the center of the province, to directly interact with the cadres, soldiers and people of Nghe An province when the whole province was looking forward to the Lotus Village Festival. I am very proud and happy.

In 2015, I was lucky and honored to play the role of Uncle Ho in the film "Thau Chin o Xiem" directed by Bui Tuan Dung. This film was produced by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the Vietnam Cinema Association Film Studio.
Thau Chin was Uncle Ho's alias during his revolutionary activities in Siam (Thailand), from July 1928 to September 1929. Uncle Ho was 38 years old at that time and was carrying out an important political task of building a revolutionary base in Thailand with his colleagues, preparing for the unification of three Party organizations, moving towards the establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The role of Uncle Ho is a lifetime role, the emotions for the role are still intact.

When I was given the role of Uncle Ho in the film "Thau Chin o Xiem", for me it was a difficult role, but also a great pride. Being able to transform into the role of Uncle Ho and completely complete that role is the motivation for me to stick with the profession. That feeling of pride is always the support for me to excel in the later roles that I take on.

More than 11 years have passed, the role of Uncle Ho is still a role of a lifetime, and the emotions for that role are still intact.

At the 2025 “Sen Village Singing” Mass Art Performance, I participated in two roles: as an art director and a performer on stage. This was the first time I had the opportunity to return to the performance, bringing with me the honor, pride, and excitement, looking forward to contributing my small part to this special art program.

The image of President Ho Chi Minh, through musical works and on stage, always appears as a sacred, noble symbol - a great leader of the nation. But besides that, he is also portrayed as a close, simple, and loving father. Every time the image of Uncle Ho appears on stage, in songs, it evokes in us a very special feeling - a sacred feeling, a deep gratitude for the great sacrifices he has made for the nation and humanity.

Participating in this festival, the Mass Art Troupe - Ha Tinh Province Center for Culture, Cinema and Tourism Promotion brought an art program with the theme "Enjoying the Lotus Village Festival, Loving Him More". The program was imbued with the sounds of Vi and Giam folk songs - simple, heartfelt melodies expressed through songs, folk and neo-classical melodies. This is the sincere heart that the people of the whole country in general, and Ha Tinh people in particular, send to beloved Uncle Ho. The performances in the program were all elaborately staged and carefully harmonized. The actors have made constant efforts, overcoming many difficulties to prepare carefully, ready to participate in this festival.
