The 2025 Lotus Village Festival – a cultural event of profound significance dedicated to the beloved President Ho Chi Minh – is not only an occasion to commemorate his immense contributions, but also a gathering place for sincere feelings, deep respect, and profound gratitude from all walks of life.
On this occasion, Nghe An Newspaper recorded the shared thoughts of exemplary individuals, expressing their reverence for President Ho Chi Minh and their pride in the Lang Sen Festival.
Venerable Thich Tue Minh – Abbot of Gam Pagoda (Xuan Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district): “Uncle Ho's ideology is also the core spirit of Buddhism.”
In the minds of Buddhist practitioners, President Ho Chi Minh has always been a deeply and infinitely respected figure. His life was intertwined with noble values of morality, thought, and humanism, with the aspiration to bring peace to the country and prosperity and happiness to the people. This is also the core spirit in which the Buddha appeared in the world – to show people the path to overcome suffering and attain liberation. There is a profound and deeply humane convergence between Buddhist thought and President Ho Chi Minh's thought.
Therefore, Buddhists always hold President Ho Chi Minh in great admiration and respect. He was a man who dedicated his entire life to national independence and reunification, yet lived simply, sincerely, and always aspired to bring the best things to the people.

For Buddhist practitioners, the Lotus Village Festival is not only a cultural event promoting the beautiful image of Nghe An province, but also an opportunity to honor and express gratitude for the merits of President Ho Chi Minh – an outstanding son of Nghe An, the great leader of the Vietnamese nation. We hope that the Lotus Village Festival will not only be a source of pride for Nghe An, but also become a national cultural brand – a place where the affection, gratitude, and respect of all generations converge towards the Father of the Nation, who sacrificed his entire life for the Fatherland and the People.

Upon receiving the invitation to participate in the film week commemorating the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth in Nghe An, I immediately arranged my schedule to attend. Although I had been to Nghe An many times before to film, at that time the film crews only filmed in remote areas. Today, I finally had the opportunity to set foot in the center of the province, to directly interact with officials, soldiers, and people of Nghe An province as the whole province was preparing for the Lang Sen Festival. I am very proud and happy.
In 2015, I was fortunate and honored to play the role of President Ho Chi Minh in the film "Thau Chin in Siam" directed by Bui Tuan Dung. This film was produced by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the Vietnam Film Association. Thau Chin was Ho Chi Minh's pseudonym during his revolutionary activities in Siam (Thailand), from July 1928 to September 1929. At that time, Ho Chi Minh was 38 years old and was undertaking a crucial political task: building a revolutionary base in Thailand with his associates, preparing for the merger of three Party organizations and the establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The role of Uncle Ho was a role of a lifetime, and the emotions I felt for the role remain intact.
When I was given the role of President Ho Chi Minh in the film "Thau Chin in Siam," it was a challenging role for me, but also a source of great pride. Being able to embody President Ho Chi Minh and complete the role perfectly motivated me to stay committed to this profession. That feeling of pride has always been a foundation for me to excel in the roles I've taken on since.
More than 11 years have passed, but the role of Uncle Ho remains a defining role of my life, and the emotions I felt for that role are still as strong as ever.

At the 2025 "Village of Lotus" Folk Art Festival, I participated in two roles: as both the artistic director and a performer on stage. This was my first time attending the festival, and I felt honored, proud, and excited to contribute a small part to this special artistic program.
Through musical works and theatrical performances, President Ho Chi Minh's image is always portrayed as a sacred and noble symbol – a great leader of the nation. But alongside that, he is also depicted as a close, simple, and beloved father figure. Whenever his image appears on stage, in songs and performances, it evokes a very special emotion in our hearts – a sacred feeling of profound gratitude for the immense sacrifices he made for the nation and humanity.

We are deeply grateful for the immense sacrifices he made for the nation and humanity.
Participating in this festival, the Folk Art Troupe – Center for Culture, Cinema and Tourism Promotion of Ha Tinh province presented an art program with the theme "Celebrating the Lotus Village Festival, deepening our love for Him." The program was rich in the melodies of folk songs and traditional music – simple and heartfelt tunes expressed through folk songs, song suites, and modern-traditional songs. This is the heartfelt respect that the people of the whole country in general, and the people of Ha Tinh in particular, send to the beloved President Ho Chi Minh. All the performances in the program were meticulously staged and carefully orchestrated. The performers made tireless efforts, overcoming many difficulties to prepare thoroughly and be ready to participate in this festival.

For me, Uncle Ho is a great role model for us to follow. His sacrifices for the country always fill us with gratitude and pride.
Therefore, we understand that we need to strive harder, study diligently, and train ourselves to become useful citizens, contributing to the building and development of the country. This is also a way for Uncle Ho – in the eternal realm – to be more at ease about the younger generation, the children of today.
This year, I am deeply honored to be one of the 10 delegates from Nghe An province attending the National Congress of Exemplary Children of Uncle Ho. This is a great source of pride in my life and also an important milestone that further motivates me to continue striving in the future.
