All flights to Da Lat have been cancelled from March 4th.
Lien Khuong International Airport (Lam Dong province) will temporarily suspend operations from 00:00 on March 4, 2026 to 23:59 on August 25, 2026 for repair work on the runway and taxiway.
According to an announcement from the Ministry of Construction, Lien Khuong International Airport (also known as Da Lat Airport) will be temporarily closed for the implementation of repair work.

According to information from Vietnam Airlines, the airline will temporarily suspend all flights to and from Lien Khuong Airport. The airline is also adjusting its flight schedule to ensure passenger travel needs are met and to maintain air connectivity in the region.
Specifically, Vietnam Airlines plans to increase operations on nearby routes such as Ho Chi Minh City – Buon Ma Thuot, Ho Chi Minh City – Pleiku, and Da Nang – Buon Ma Thuot. These routes are expected to meet the travel needs of passengers to Lam Dong province while the region's important air hub is temporarily closed for infrastructure upgrades.
For passengers who have purchased tickets for flights to and from Lam Dong via Lien Khuong Airport between March 4th and August 25th, 2026, Vietnam Airlines allows one free change of flight date or itinerary. Any differences in fare, taxes, or fees will be governed by the airline's current regulations.
Additionally, passengers can also choose to refund their tickets and purchased supplemental services free of charge. This support policy is valid until August 31, 2026.
Lien Khuong Airport was upgraded to an international airport in June 2024. Due to its long prior operation, some infrastructure components have deteriorated and require comprehensive repairs to ensure safety and increase operational capacity.
Once completed, the runway will be renovated to meet higher technical standards, allowing it to accommodate larger aircraft, increasing flight frequency, and reducing congestion during peak tourist seasons in Da Lat.
