Nghi Loc District intensifies efforts to develop the Party.

Developing student party members in schools.
The Nghi Loc District Party Committee currently has 8 Party branches in the high school sector, the Continuing Education & Vocational Training Center, and the Economic-Technical College, with a total of 340 Party members. With the attention and guidance of the District Party Committee Standing Committee, the Party branches in the school sector always consider the recruitment and admission of Party members as an important and regular task in Party building, contributing to enhancing the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization…
Ms. Hoang Thi Kim Lien, Party Secretary and Principal of Nguyen Duy Trinh High School, said: “Over the years, the school's Party branch has always done a good job in developing student Party members. In the 2022-2023 school year, we trained and admitted 28 Party members; in the 2023-2024 school year, we admitted 39 Party members, and this school year, the Party branch will strive to exceed the target set by the higher authorities.”
At the 8 Party branches in the high school, continuing education and vocational training center, and economic-technical college under the Nghi Loc District Party Committee, the work of developing new Party members has been carried out effectively. From June 2023 to the present, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee has reviewed and admitted 205 student Party members (79 in 2023, 126 in the first 9 months of 2024) and 318 students have been sent to participate in Party awareness training courses. This result contributes to the successful completion of the annual target for admitting Party members according to the Resolution of the 29th Congress of the Nghi Loc District Party Committee, term 2020-2025.
Comrade Nguyen Duc Loc – Secretary of the Nghi Loc District Youth Union, said: To continue effectively implementing the work of developing Party members among students in schools, in the coming time, the District Youth Union will focus on solutions such as: Strengthening a full and deep understanding of the position, role, and importance of developing Party members among students; Regularly paying attention to political and ideological education for students to deeply understand the viewpoints and guidelines of the Party, the policies and laws of the State, and raise political awareness to determine the correct motivation for striving to join the Party;
Regularly identify, nurture, and recruit outstanding students who aspire to join the Party; strictly implement the process of recommending students who have completed Party awareness training courses but have not yet been admitted to the Party to Party organizations for continued monitoring, support, and development; continue to promote the role of the Youth Union in organizing emulation movements, creating an environment for students in schools to have opportunities to engage in activities, cultivate their character, and demonstrate their abilities, striving to join the ranks of the Party...
Exceeding targets
Based on Resolution No. 21-NQ/TW, dated June 16, 2022, of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (13th term) on "Strengthening the consolidation and building of grassroots Party organizations and improving the quality of Party members in the new period"; and the directives from the Central Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, a plan has been developed to organize the dissemination and implementation of documents from the Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee on Party member development. Simultaneously, a plan for training and developing Party members has been developed, assigning targets to Party committees and branches for implementation.
Along with organizing a conference to discuss solutions for effectively implementing Resolution No. 21-NQ/TW, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee also organized three specialized conferences on Party building and membership recruitment (one conference with Party committees and branches in public service and schools; one district-wide conference; and one conference with Party committees and branches with low membership recruitment rates); and guided Party committees and branches of organizations and associations to organize thematic activities on the topic of "Party member recruitment, training and development"...
During the implementation process, the district integrated the implementation of Project 05-DA/HU on "Building and developing Party and mass organizations in non-state enterprises in the district" and Directive No. 06 CT/HU of the District Party Committee on "Strengthening the training and development of Party members in rural areas"... Thanks to the timely implementation of these solutions, the quality of grassroots Party organizations and the recruitment of Party members in the district have been improved.
In the first nine months of 2024, several Party committees and branches in Nghi Loc district achieved 100% of their targets for admitting new Party members, including: Nghi Van commune Party committee; Nghi Tien commune Party committee; Nghi Kieu commune Party committee; Nghi Truong commune Party committee... Notably, the Party branches of high schools, vocational schools, and continuing education and vocational training centers requested the District Party Standing Committee to consider admitting students into the Party, accounting for 38.41% of the total number of Party members admitted in the entire district. In the first nine months of the year, the district admitted 388 new Party members, reaching 118.3% of the 2024 plan.
Annually, the Standing Committee of the Nghi Loc District Party Committee assigns targets for Party member development to Party committees and branches, while also holding leaders accountable for identifying, selecting, and nurturing outstanding individuals for consideration and admission. Regular meetings are held with Party committees and branches regarding Party member development. The District Political Center is directed to organize Party awareness training courses according to plan, prioritizing those for outstanding individuals such as high school students, workers, and employees in enterprises. The Committee also directs the maintenance of thematic discussions on "Party Member Development and Nurturing," linked with surveys, assessments, and analyses of the quality of outstanding individuals in youth branches, associations, village committees, and schools.
To ensure the sustainable and high-quality development of Party members, the district continues to focus on leading and directing the implementation of each stage, step by step, meticulously and seriously, from propaganda and education, creating sources, training and admitting new members, to assisting probationary members in becoming full members.
