(Baonghean.vn) - 10 tons of vegetables and fruits were divided into two trucks for transportation from Quynh Luu district to Vinh City to be directly handed over to the Vinh City Fatherland Front Committee and the "Zero-Cost Stalls" in the area.
Vinh CityDuring the peak days of social distancing to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic, people are asked to stay at home and not go out.
In addition, markets throughout the city have closed, and delivery drivers are not allowed to operate, making it difficult to supply food to residents in the city.

In just one day of mobilization, 10 tons of various vegetables and root crops were donated. On the morning of August 28th, this food was divided into two trucks for transport to Vinh City. One truck was directly delivered to the Vinh City Fatherland Front Committee, while the other truck transported and supplied the "Zero-Cost Stalls" throughout the city.

Ms. Pham Thi Hai Yen, Chairwoman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Quynh Luu District, said: "Although Quynh Luu District is also struggling to fight the epidemic, with a spirit of solidarity and mutual support, the people of Quynh Luu District have joined hands to share some of the difficulties with the people of Vinh City to overcome the pandemic together. In the future, depending on the actual situation, we will coordinate with other units to provide more food deliveries to the people of Vinh City as well as other districts."
